Your account

Delete your Quiire account.

You can delete your account and the personal information that goes with it at any time. This applies to Quiire, Quiire Provider and Quiire Merchant accounts alike. It takes a minute in the app, and if you no longer have the app you can ask us instead.

In the app

Delete it yourself

The quickest way, and the one that tells you straight away if something has to be settled first.

  1. Step 1

    Open the app and sign in

    Use the app the account belongs to: Quiire, Quiire Provider or Quiire Merchant.

  2. Step 2

    Go to your account

    In Quiire, open Account. In Quiire Provider and Quiire Merchant, open Settings.

  3. Step 3

    Choose Delete account

    In Quiire Merchant it is with the terms, under Settings. The app checks that nothing is still open: no ride, order or job in progress, and no money left in the wallet or owed.

  4. Step 4

    Confirm

    Tap Delete my account. You are signed out and the account is closed from that moment.

Without the app

Ask us to delete it.

Email info@quiire.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Quiire account”. Tell us the phone number or @handle on the account and which app it is for: Quiire, Quiire Provider or Quiire Merchant.

We reply to confirm it is your account before anything is deleted, and we never ask for your password or a sign-in code. If you only want part of your information removed rather than the whole account, say so in the same email.

What happens

30 days to change your mind

Your account closes straight away. For 30 days, signing in again cancels the deletion and brings everything back. After that, what identifies you is removed for good.

What is removed

  • Your name, email address, phone number and @handle
  • Your saved places, favourites and trusted contacts
  • Your sign-in details, including Google or Apple sign-in links and every signed-in device
  • Identity documents and verification photos
  • A provider’s vehicle plate

What is kept, without your name on it

  • Records of rides, orders, parcels and jobs, and the payments for them. These are financial records that have to stay complete; your account on them reads “Deleted account”.
  • Safety recordings made during a ride, and the record of anyone they were shared with. They can be evidence for the other person or the police, so they are not erased when one side closes an account.

Before you can delete

An account cannot be deleted while something is still open on it: a ride, order, parcel or job in progress, money left in the wallet, or an amount still owed. The app tells you what is open and how to settle it. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
